After John's Private Investigator license was revoked in 2002, he proceeded to declare himself a Polygraph Examiner, which he is not by any recognized standards of this profession. California, where John Grogan resides, does not have licensing for Polygraph Examiners so there has been no legal recourse by which to regulate the fraud being perpetrated by John on the public in California and now across the nation.
John has recently appeared on nationally syndicated television shows as a 'polygraph examiner'. We believe the producers and examinees of these shows had no idea who they had hired and are victims themselves of his fraud.
John has created an empire of one by setting up 57(as of our last count) websites that appear legitimate, but with close observation, are revealed to all be smoke and mirrors. These websites are designed to generate leads for John and a handful of examiners (no more than 13 have we ever been able to find across the nation) who have joined his association and/or alliances. We believe that several of these examiners don't yet know the entire story and are unwitting participants, while others, it seems clear have chosen to align themselves with John even after knowing the truth about him.
John also cooks up 'instant polygraph examiners'. Just add water & $845 to the '45lb polygraph academy in a box' that he sells and voila, without any practical experience whatsoever, he is declaring completely unqualified people to be polygraph examiners and giving them a membership in the PEOA. In other words, John sells them a lie. These people will never be able to be hired or contracted by any government agency in the US. Several victims have tried to get refunds to no avail after realizing the '45 pounder' is NOT a real polygraph course by any recognized standards in our profession, but John Grogan has a long history of not not giving refunds.
This site's main goal is to inform so that people can make educated decisions on whether to do business with John Grogan, his Polygraph Examiners of America (peoa.us) or any of his state 'alliances'.
